Course	Introduction to Job Control Language (JCL)
Level	Introductory
Overview	The participants will be introduced to MVS Job Control Language. This course is meant for application programmers who will need to use JCL for their assignments. This course should be supplemented with lab sessions.
Objective	Participants will learn how to - Code basic JCL statements Code instream and cataloged procedures. Recognize and understand JCL errors and return codes.
Duration	Two (02) days: (09.30AM till 17.30AM)
Participant's Profile	Computer professionals who are new to mainframes are the primary audience for this course. This is an entry-level course and is mainly intended for application programmers.
Prerequisite	Awareness of large systems organization.
Follow-on session	VSAM session is recommended after this course.
