CITY-BASED distributor for IBM and Microsoft.
BitPlus Information Technologies has rolled out an in-house developed CRM
solution, which is a contact management module, targeted at the small and medium
enterprises (SMEs). The company will be appointing channel partners and solution
providers to market the same.
The new solution, priced a little below Rs.10,000/- can be
used for creating and maintaining a database.
Besides sending mass messages, the software also enables to keep track of
the messages sent and follow-up the events using varied tools of communication.
According to Mr.
Vivek Rastogi, BitPlus CEO, the product comes in
three different versions which includes standard, professional and enterprise.
He said it has been developed on windows using MS Access, DB2, SQL
Desktop Server and DB2 Servers. Expressing the hope that the new solution would
sell like hot cake in the market, Rastogi said the company has invested revenues
to the tune of Rs. 10 Lakh and developing the solution.
“We are expecting to generate 25 Percent of its targeted turnover of Rs. 50 Lakh
from this product, “ he said,
while Rs. 20 Lakh from the product division,
a similar amount is likely to be generated through the corporate training division
of the company, adding the revenue will be generated both directly and through
the distribution process.
He said the company has decided to go in for a 2 tier
distribution model.
“We will have one distributor for each cities besides
having solution providers.”
he said, adding, “The company is also exploring the possibility of
bundling the solution with its existing products from IBM, Microsoft and
Delhi-based Stellar information Systems”. Efforts are on to redefine the
marketing strategies in order to counter competition from its rivals.
